Welcome to our School!Scoil Bhríde, Ardough is a two-teacher school in County Laois. The school is located close to the boundary lines of Co. Carlow and Co. Kilkenny. We have pupils attending from all three counties! Nestled in the very picturesque Bilboa, the school overlooks a large forest and beautiful river, with the Gortahile windfarm as our backdrop. |

About Our School.Our school was built in 1958. Our wonderful facilities include: a recreation hall, a library, two classrooms and a large play area including a basketball court and football pitch. The school is wonderfully equipped with excellent resources including interactive whiteboards, computers, science equipment, musical instruments, an extensive range of P.E. equipment, drama resources and art facilities. |

Extra Curricular ActivitiesOur school is always a busy hive of activity. Each year our pupils participate in a number of extra-curricular activities. This year we hope to participate in The Saint Patrick's Day Parade, Art Exhibitioins, Christmas Carol service, Easter-Egg Hunt, Football and Hurling Coaching and The Green School's Programme. |

Identifying and developing individual talents!
Due to the low pupil-teacher ratio in our school we aim to develop each child to the best of his/her individual potential. Through the teaching of the Curriculum and through our participation in extra-curricular activities we aim to develop all aspects of the child: social, emotional, cognitive, spiritual and physical.
